ReplyDeleteMy heart breaks for your family. 6 months ago my husband was the one in the hospital bed of the ICU. The difficulty in seeing him go through something like this has been the hardest thing in my life, I can't imagine if it were my son. My husband broke his C4, C5 (burst fracture) and C6. He had/has a large contusion on his spinal cord and broke both his hips. I am so sorry for what you guys are going through, and would love to talk to you if you'd like. There's not very many people who has been through something like this, and it was so helpful for us to talk to others about it. My husband has been an inspiration to so many and i know he would love to talk to Kollin-- when Kollin is ready. There have been two short films made about cody's accident, recovery, and our family. They're on his facebook page-- Support Cody-- Watch them, they might be inspiring to Kollin.
